Young Explorers Day Nursery

The Young Explorers Day Nursery is managed by Michaela Banks (N.N.E.B, NVQ Assessor) an experienced childcare practitioner and working mother who has acknowledged the difficulty of finding affordable, quality childcare in the Peak District. Michaela has strived to meet the needs of parents and children in designing her new, exclusive day nursery. Michaela and her staff aim to provide affordable childcare to meet the individual needs of both children and parents by offering a warm, friendly, safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish and develop their full potential.

The nursery is equipped to a high standard, set in beautiful secure surroundings with extensive outdoor play provision and off the road car parking facilities.

Young Explorers offer a homely environment in which babies and children can develop at their own pace, building on their skills and confidence in preparation for school.

At Young Explorers Day Nursery, we believe, play is the way in which young children find out about their world and acquire, practice and refine their emerging skills.

Play occurs naturally in children, so through their play children develop physical, intellectual, linguistic, social and emotional skills and concepts.

Adults can use children’s eagerness to play, to create an effective learning environment. A well-planned, rich and stimulating play environment will provide opportunities for children to explore the world, and adapt and refine their understanding of it.
